The doors have closed on another successful Dunedin Festival of Photography. This is mostly due to the fantastic images that were entered and the great job the selectors did in putting together the collection of images for the print and projected exhibitions.
This year we had a total of 839 images (print and projected) from 94 entrants. The final print and projected exhibitions comprised 355 accepted images. Congratulations go to all the entrants who had images accepted, and in particular to those who were selected for honours and champion awards.
Full AVs of the exhibition are available:

Judging of the 45th Dunedin Festival of Photography took place on Saturday 27th September and the results have been emailed to all entrants. Congratulations to everyone who had images accepted and those who received awards. We had a large number of entries and overall the standard was high. We cannot accept everything and many good images had to be rejected; if you did not succeed this year we encourage you to enter again next year.
The accepted prints and a slideshow of accepted projected images will be exhibited at the Dunedin Community Gallery from Tues 21st – Mon 27th October. There will be an official opening on Monday 20th, with invitations to be emailed to entrants shortly.

However, you must have completed your online entry for the festival by the closing date of 19th Sept, and be able to deliver your prints to Melanie by Wed 24th Sept.
The Dunedin Photographic Society invites you to enter the 45th Dunedin Festival of Photography.
The 2014 organising committee has made some positive changes including a move to online submissions for all entries and the introduction of two new sections – Monochrome and Portraiture.
Entries open 1st August and close 9pm Friday 19th September. Information and the online entry form can be found on our website. The exhibition will take place 20-27th October at the Dunedin Community Gallery.
