Honours
The Honours Board met at the end of June and a number of DPS members were successful in gaining honours – Licentiate (LPSNZ) and Associateship (APSNZ) – this year.
From the PSNZ Honours page: “The PSNZ Honours distinction is an internationally recognised award, confirming a level of photographic competence demonstrated through a portfolio presentation of a member’s work.” You don’t have to be a member of PSNZ to apply for Licentiate (LPSNZ). Find out more on the PSNZ Honours page.
If this challenge appeals to you, and you’d like some group support, join up with the honours group by emailing Gordon or Gary.

Good Photo Spots (GPS)
Email your Good Photo Spots with some details (location; best time, weather, tides; relevant links; risks; GPS co-ordinates) about your spot to GPS project.
Good Photo Spots (GPS) are locally known spots that visiting photographers might not notice or know about about. They are not the secret and special spots. GPSs will be collated and listed in the members only area of the PSNZ website so you can have some ideas of where to go the next time you’re out of town.
