DPS Project

Our People, Our Places – Winter 2026

Show us your Dunedin this winter!

Be part of this DPS member project and help create a photographic portrait of Dunedin’s people, places, and winter stories. From landscapes and weather to architecture, street life, community groups, natural history and everyday Kiwi ingenuity—everything is fair game.

Two simple rules:

  • Images must be taken within the Dunedin City boundary (see map).
  • Images must be captured during July-August 2026.

All photographic genres and editing styles are welcome. Submit a single image, a themed series, or a project focused on a favourite place. The subject isn’t winter itself. Rather, the subject is Dunedin in all its forms, photographed as you encounter it during July and August.

Upload your images via the Winter_2026 Jotform. Standard DPS digital image specifications apply.

Please follow DPS code of conduct. AI-generated images are not permitted, and any necessary permissions for people, property, or drone photography remain your responsibility.

We’ll share selected images and project updates along the way. Join the conversation on the DPS Blog and DPS Facebook page.

Get out there, have fun, and help tell Dunedin’s winter story.
